Hunter Brown
My entire career has been in sales in some way. I began my career as an entrepreneur owning my own retail business and growing it into multiple businesses with multiple locations. During this time I was involved in 2 downtown merchant associations and 1 city committee which expanded my professional network and expanded my experience. I received the Wilmington area Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2005.

Next I went on to work for Verizon and quickly learned a new industry with lots of competition. I quickly moved up to sales management with Verizon and on to Business Sales.

While doing outsides sales and B2B sales with Verizon I honed my hunting and prospecting skills to generate new business. I used a consultant sales approach to show genuine interest in clients businesses and the problems they faced. These My efforts resulted in achieving numerous record months and a major milestone in business sales in my market.

I then moved on to be a Sales Development Manager for a local privately-owned SaaS company. I again learned a new industry very quick and learned even more about prospecting. This is all my team of 10 did. I coached my team on various strategies of prospecting and building relationships quickly allowing them to hit their targets. In 1 year 6 of my team members were promoted to new positions and progressing their careers. This team because a reliable source of predicable revenue sending over millions of dollars in leads to the sales teams.

My professional background in sales, sales leadership and as a entrepreneur has allowed me to be successful in my roles closing numerous deals, exceeding targets, motivating teams, and helping others reach their goals.
